What we treat at the skin clinic

Dull, tired or crepey skin

Dull, tired or crepey skin

Skin that looks flat or tired at rest. Sometimes the honest answer is to work on skin health first, rather than reach for a procedure.

Texture and pores

Texture and pores

Rough texture and visible pores, treated with resurfacing, microneedling or peels depending on what is driving them.

Pigmentation and sun damage

Pigmentation and sun damage

Uneven tone, sunspots and pigmentation. The device and its settings are matched to your skin type in consultation.

Acne scarring

Acne scarring

Scarring that has settled into the skin. Resurfacing and collagen stimulation, usually planned as a course over months.

Fine lines and skin quality

Fine lines and skin quality

Early lines, loss of firmness and changes in skin quality, often helped by combining in-clinic treatments with clinical skincare.

Clinical skincare

Clinical skincare

Prescriptive, cosmeceutical-grade formulations dispensed and reviewed by the clinic, not bought off a shelf. Frequently the first thing Dr Brandon recommends.

What treatments we use

  • Common aesthetic treatments

If you know the name of it, ask us when you come in for your appointment. We have a large amount of treatments in clinic, and well make a personal recommendation based on what you’re trying to achieve.

  • Clinical skincare

Prescriptive, cosmeceutical-grade formulations dispensed and reviewed by the clinic, not bought off a shelf. Slower than a procedure and unglamorous, but it is where a lot of skin complaints are genuinely solved. Frequently the first thing Dr Brandon recommends.

  • Laser and energy-based

Resurfacing and skin-tightening devices used for texture, tone, pigmentation and scarring. Different devices do different jobs, and matching the device to the concern matters more than the brand name on it. Downtime varies and is discussed openly before you commit.

  • In-clinic skin treatments

Microneedling, chemical peels and collagen-stimulating procedures. These sit between skincare and laser in both intensity and cost, and are often used as a course over months rather than a single visit.

Skin clinic in Sydney, your questions

No. Most patients don't, and it's usually better that way. Choosing between options like microneedling, laser resurfacing or collagen stimulation without understanding your skin can lead to the wrong approach. The same concern can have different underlying causes. The consultation is designed to assess your skin properly and recommend what will actually improve it.

These treatments can all improve skin quality, but they work in different ways. Microneedling supports collagen production through controlled injury, while laser resurfacing works at both surface and deeper levels to improve texture, tone and structure. Other skin treatments focus more on hydration, repair or regeneration. The right choice depends on what's driving the issue, not just what it looks like on the surface.

Face-to-face consultations with Dr Brandon run for 45 minutes and include a clinical skin assessment. He looks at what is driving your skin concern before recommending anything.

Both. Dr Brandon treats skin quality, texture, pigmentation and scarring alongside cosmetic concerns, and the plan often combines the two.

Often, yes. Skin improves over time, and many skin treatments work best as a course over several months, supported by clinical skincare at home. Your plan and its timing are discussed in consultation.
