What is Penile PRP treatment and how does it work?
The Penile PRP treatment uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) – derived from your own blood – to deliver concentrated growth factors to the treated tissue. It is a non-surgical treatment with no synthetic materials involved. The substance used is derived entirely from the patient.
PRP is produced from a blood sample taken at the clinic. The sample is processed in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets – the components of blood responsible for growth factor release and tissue repair.
The concentrated PRP is then administered to the treatment area. The growth factors stimulate tissue response, vascularisation, and cellular renewal in the treated tissue.
Recovery is minimal. There is no surgical downtime. Most patients return to normal activities the following day.
