Work with us.
Cleon is a doctor-led cosmetic clinic in Potts Point, and we’re growing. We’re looking for people who listen first, tell patients the truth and take pride in getting the details right.

Why Cleon
Good medicine takes time.
We built Cleon so our team has the time, the support and the equipment to do things properly. No production line, and no treatment agenda.

- 01
Time with every patient
A consultation here is an hour. The work is planned, unhurried and done properly.
- 02
Autonomy, with a safety net
You’ll have the clinical autonomy to practise within your scope, and the safety net of a clinic that’s genuinely doctor-led.
- 03
Judged on outcomes, not targets
Success here is safe, consistent results and patients who come back. Not daily sales targets.
- 04
Serious equipment
The Alma Hybrid laser, Dermalux Tri‑Wave MD LED, EmCyte PurePRP, skin needling and the SkinCeuticals peel range. You’ll help choose what we add next.
- 05
Room to grow
We’re a young clinic. Bring your ideas and ambition, and grow with us.
Alma, Dermalux, Tri‑Wave MD, EmCyte, PurePRP, SkinCeuticals, Alastin, SkinBetter Science, Dermaceutic and La Roche-Posay are trademarks of their owners.

02Purpose and setting
This role owns the skin and laser side of Cleon: delivering treatments to a high clinical standard and guiding each patient’s home care. Cleon is in its first months of operation and there is plenty of room to grow. We’re looking for someone with the ideas and ambition to help Cleon grow.
Cleon is a doctor-led aesthetics clinic in Potts Point, founded by Dr Brandon on the view that ageing well is an art and a privilege, not about reversing time. It offers medical aesthetic and skin quality treatments, an Alma Hybrid laser (fractional CO2 with 1570 nm), PRP, Tri‑Wave MD LED and a curated skincare range in clinic and online.
03Key responsibilities
Most of the week is hands-on treatment and skin consultation; the rest is home-care prescribing, records and keeping the skin program running.
Treatments
- Perform Alma Hybrid treatments from a doctor-approved plan: non-ablative 1570 nm and light CO2 independently once signed off, and deeper fractional CO2 under Dr Brandon’s direct supervision.
- Deliver skin needling to the clinic’s protocol and depth limits.
- Deliver Tri‑Wave MD LED, chemical peels and the other skin treatments on the menu.
- Take clinical images at each course for the patient record.
- Train on new devices as Cleon adds them, and contribute to decisions on which devices to invest in next.
Skin consultations and patient care
- Assess skin and manage common presentations (acne, pigmentation and melasma, rosacea and redness, scarring, photo-ageing) within scope, referring to Dr Brandon for medical assessment or prescription treatment.
- Prepare patients, explain aftercare, follow up and rebook.
- Recognise complications early and escalate them under the clinic’s complications protocol.
Skincare
- Prescribe home care matched to each patient’s skin and treatment from Cleon’s range (SkinCeuticals, Alastin, SkinBetter Science, Dermaceutic, La Roche-Posay), in clinic and through the online shop.
- Keep product knowledge current and help shape the range.
Safety, records and compliance
- Keep accurate, same-day clinical records and photos, and confirm documented consent before each treatment.
- Run laser safety for every treatment: controlled area, correct eyewear, device and treatment logs.
- Follow infection-control and skin-penetration standards, the NSW Code of Conduct for unregistered health practitioners, and AHPRA advertising rules in any content.
04Supporting the clinic
Cleon is in its first months and the treatment book will take time to fill. Until it does, a real share of the week goes to supporting Dr Brandon and the business, and the right person is happy to do it.
- Reception: greet patients, answer calls, emails and enquiries, manage bookings, take payments and rebook.
- Stock and ordering: with the Practice Manager, manage skin and laser consumables, retail stock, stocktakes and supplier contacts.
- Online skincare shop: answer product questions and help pack and send orders.
- Clinic readiness: open and close the clinic, and keep treatment rooms and devices clean, stocked and ready.
- Content and education: help create social media and educational content, treatment protocols and patient handouts.
- Patient follow-up: post-treatment check-ins and reminders for patients due for review.
- Wherever it’s needed: a willing, hands-on attitude to whatever the clinic needs on the day.
05Scope of practice
Light CO2 and everything gentler is the therapist’s to perform once signed off; deeper fractional CO2 is supervised; prescription treatments and prescribing stay with the doctor.
Sign-off means Dr Brandon has observed supervised treatments and recorded the therapist as competent for that device and mode. The table is reviewed at each performance review.
06Selection criteria
The ideal candidate is an all-rounder with 3–5+ years of clinical skin and laser work, deep skin knowledge and a natural, skin-led approach to selling skincare.
Essential
- 3–5+ years as a dermal or skin therapist in a clinical or medical aesthetics setting, across a broad treatment menu.
- A Diploma of Beauty Therapy or higher, plus accredited laser training and a current laser safety certificate.
- Hands-on experience with laser and light-based skin treatments.
- Deep knowledge of skin anatomy and physiology, and of how to treat and manage common presentations.
- A track record of prescribing skincare matched to each person’s skin, with strong retail results.
- Infection-control training and safe skin-penetration practice.
- Clear, warm communication and accurate clinical documentation.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Attention to detail.
- A good sense of humour.
Desirable
- Fractional CO2 and IPL training and experience (highly regarded).
- An Advanced Diploma of Skin Therapy or Cosmetic Dermal Science, or a dermal degree.
- Alma Hybrid or Alma Harmony experience.
- Skin needling experience, including RF needling.
- Experience with SkinCeuticals, Alastin, SkinBetter Science or Dermaceutic.
- Experience in a doctor-led clinic.
- Membership of, or eligibility for, the Australian Society of Dermal Clinicians.
- An interstate laser licence (Queensland, WA or Tasmania), as evidence of training.
- Comfortable being filmed and contributing to the clinic’s social media and educational content.
07How success is measured
Success is judged on safe, consistent outcomes and loyal patients, not daily sales targets.
- Safety
- Every complication recorded and escalated per protocol; laser-safety and infection-control checks passed
- Records
- Same-day notes, consent and clinical images for every treatment
- Patients
- Rebooking and course-completion rates; patient feedback, kept internal and never published as testimonials
- Skincare
- A written home-care plan for every skin patient; retail sales, which set the commission
- Development
- Alma Hybrid sign-offs completed within the first three months; ongoing training each year
08Conditions and checks
The role is offered subject to qualification, reference and practical checks, and to working within Cleon’s clinical governance.
Conditions of the role
- Work within the scope of practice above and Cleon’s written protocols.
- Comply with the NSW Code of Conduct for unregistered health practitioners, infection-control and skin-penetration standards, and privacy law.
- Never administer, prescribe, sell or supply scheduled medicines.
- Follow AHPRA advertising rules in any content about Cleon treatments that are subject to AHPRA and TGA regulation.
- Work under Cleon’s indemnity cover and complete the training required for each new device.
- Sign a non-disclosure agreement covering Cleon’s business operations, trade secrets and other confidential information.
Before an offer
- Verify qualifications directly with the issuing college or university.
- Check the laser safety certificate, device training records and any interstate laser licence.
- Run a practical assessment: a skin consultation and a supervised treatment on a model.
- Take two references, including one clinical supervisor.
- Confirm work rights and that no HCCC or interstate prohibition order applies.

Our founder
A clinic built on candour.
Cleon was founded by Dr Brandon Kober-Brown, a cosmetic doctor, on one principle: the consultation is the medicine. We listen properly, tell patients honestly what will and won’t help, and review every result.
Everyone who works here works the same way. If that’s how you’d want to work, we’d like to hear from you.
